Early Saturday Morning

I have not been getting a lot of sleep recently and it is really starting to take a toll on my body. Im extrememly tired throughout the day which causes me to sleep and then once again I can't sleep at night. This morning was torture for me to wake up, I tossed and turned all night til about 2am and had to be up by 5am just to make it to work by 6:30 am. So here I am sitting here at my boring job with nothing to do. Only 1 hour and 50 minutes has passed but it feels like I have been here for forever. I dont really do much at my place of work but sit at a desk so these next couple of hours are going to be crucial. To top this all off the soda machines in my building are broke so I cant even get anything cold to drink to keep me awake. Hopefully when I get off I will be able to take a nice long nap. I can't wait! :)

"Unthinkable"

I am absolutely in love with Alicia Keys song Unthinkable. Not only do I love the words to the song but I also love the approach that she and her director took in the making of the video. I think it was very brave of them to explore the history as well as present issues surrounding interracial relationships. In this day and time I feel that people should be allowed to love, date and marry whomever they choose. We can't continue to let things such as the color of our skin stand in the way of our happiness. There are still people out there who have a problem with interracial dating, I hope that this video will help people better understand that color shouldn't matter.

Just Starting Out
